Yes. You plan at any level of your product and location hierarchy: channel, division, department, category, class, or below, and at any time granularity down to daily (weekly is the default). You define the hierarchy; Toolio adapts to it. If your business has a non-standard structure, wholesale and DTC in the same plan, multiple currencies, custom fiscal calendars, that's configurable. You're not forcing your process into a fixed template.
Pre-season planning, in-season OTB, data validation, and finance reconciliation all ship as ready-to-use views. These are starting points your team can customize for your metrics, attributes, and reporting cadence. If you have an existing planning process, we map to it. If you're building from scratch, you're not starting from a blank page.
Financial guidance from your FP&A system imports directly into Toolio as a scenario, so merch and finance plans start from the same baseline. From there, your merchandise plan flows into assortment planning with reconciliation built in, no manual handoff between systems. On the ERP side, Toolio connects to NetSuite, SAP, and others. Data warehouses: BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift. Everything updates automatically so your plan always reflects current actuals.
Toolio uses tournament forecasting. It tests multiple forecast models against your data and selects the most accurate one for each category or product. It accounts for seasonality, promotions, stockouts, and one-off anomalies that distort standard models. The model selections are explainable, so your team can see why a forecast was generated, not just what it says.
