Export History

You can now see a full history of your exports from Toolio into NetSuite! This will capture all requests to generate Purchase Orders and Inventory Items from Toolio to NetSuite. Simply navigate to your Settings menu > Exports > Export History. Here, you’ll find your entire export history summarized with the Status and any Messages if there are errors. Please stay tuned as we have many improvements to Export management to come!

You can read more about exporting from Toolio into NetSuite here.

Location Attribute in Multiple Plans

With this addition, you’ll now be able to create Multiple Plans in Merchandise Plan with Location attribute. This is especially important if you’d like to create a Store Plan which would go down into Location level granularity and also in retail calendar. This would be particularly useful if you have 10+ stores, and want to plan them independently on your merchandise plan.

Please note that Multiple Plans are only supported for Pro plan and above. If you want to learn more on how to enable Multiple Plans on your account, please get in touch with your Customer Success manager.

Please read more about Location Enabled Plan under Multiple Plans in Merchandise Plan here.

Generate Inventory from the first available time frame

As you make changes to your Sales, Receipts, Returns, Markdowns or Discounts, you will need to enable the Generate Inventory function. To do so, right click in the grid and select Generate Inventory. Previously, when you run generate inventory, you’d have to select the time frame cell to determine which time frame it’d start running the function. With this change now, it will generate inventory from the first available timeframe which is the current week. The first time frame will be editable if it is not actualized for you to edit any inventory metric. If you are in a view where there is no none-actualized time frame, then the Generate Inventory function will be disabled.

Please read more about Generate Inventory function here.

Demand Metrics

As a planner, you are building sales plans and receipt buys based on historical information with current trends. In order to do this accurately, you are probably reviewing your sales in detail to figure out when were you fully in stock to find the best sales rate to build your new plans.

This is a time consuming (although necessary) task. Without proper review and hindsighting, you could potentially be deriving inaccurate forecasts based on the historical data flaws.

Toolio recognizes this pain point and have developed our demand metrics to show you what sales could have been based on having the stock. There are a few fields to define in order to build your demand metrics:

  • Look back period
  • Minimum WOS
  • Gap Weeks

Please read more about Demand Metrics here.
