Tooli + Skills TL;DR
We're shipping a fully redesigned Tooli, and with it, Skills: planning Agents on the Toolio platform. Tooli used to take you from data to insight. Skills takes you the rest of the way — from insight to action.
Each Skill is an Agent that runs a multi-step planning workflow end-to-end against the live state of your plan, and returns a decision-ready artifact; or in the case of allocation, the recommended moves themselves, ready to execute on your say-so.
Three Agents ship today: /monday-readout, /allocation-review, /quarterly-business-review. Each one replacing hours of senior-planner work.
Data that Drives Better Decisions
Tooli, version one, did one thing well: it answered questions over your plan. Chat, sidebar, one-off queries. That's data to insight — genuinely useful, and the part of the job that was already the fastest.
What still eats a senior planner's week is everything downstream of the answer: writing the Monday readout, reviewing allocation across the network, assembling the quarterly review, deciding what to actually do about a category that's off plan. That's insight to action, and it's where the new Tooli lives.
The interface got an overhaul, but the bigger shift is what runs inside it. Tooli isn't just answering anymore. It's executing. With Skills, Tooli isn't a chat tool. It's a roster of Agents.

A New Home for AI in Toolio
The old Tooli was a sidebar; useful for a quick question, forgotten by the next one. We rebuilt it from the ground up. The new Tooli is a real, persistent AI workspace that lives alongside your plan and stays with you through the workday: full conversation history, searchable and shareable threads, working across MFP, Assortment, Item Plan, and Allocation from one place. You can pick up a thread a day later and keep going.
Planning isn't a series of one-off questions; it's an ongoing process, and your AI should work the same way. When context carries forward, the answers get sharper. When a whole team can share a thread, alignment happens faster. The practical effect: less time re-explaining what you're looking at, more time acting on the answer.
The Gap a Better Chat Doesn't Close
A sharper conversation, though, still depends on who's having it. Tooli answers with the live state of the plan behind every response. But every planner asks the question slightly differently, and every variance recap comes out a little different. Your senior allocator knows exactly how to triage stockout risk: what to check first, which categories to deprioritize, when an intra-network transfer beats a reorder. Your best planner's Monday recap has a specific shape: category-level variance, the right drivers surfaced, a narrative ready for standup. That playbook lives in their head.
Same data. Same Tooli. Wildly different output depending on who's running it.
Tribal knowledge is the biggest bottleneck in most planning orgs. Your best people carry the methodology in their heads. When they're out, things slip. When you hire, it takes months to transfer. That's the gap Skills closes by promoting that playbook from instinct to Agent.
A Skill is an Agent
Type a slash command. The Agent takes it from there: plans its own steps, pulls live data across your plan, applies your team's rules, and returns a structured artifact. A deck, a readout, a risk list, a CSV that a planner can act on. Not a saved prompt. Not a macro. A workflow with judgment baked in.
Anyone in your org can write one. Save it once, share it across your team. Your team's playbooks become your team's Agents, and the methodology that used to depend on one person's calendar becomes permanent, shared capability.
The Starter Agents Live Today
Three Agents ship today, spanning the planning week: the weekly pulse, the operational loop, the quarterly readout. Each one is a senior-planner ritual, compressed into a slash command. All three are tenant-agnostic: they discover your calendar, hierarchy, channels, and metrics at runtime, so they work on your plan without configuration.
Skills as a Compounding Factor
Most tools give you capability once. Skills compound.
Every workflow your team encodes is permanent. Stacking more Skills means more of your process is one slash command away. The more your team uses Tooli, the more institutional knowledge gets encoded; the more that gets encoded, the faster everyone works. The output gets consistent by construction: last week's Monday readout and this week's are comparable because the same Agent ran them. Onboarding accelerates because the playbook lives in the platform, not in someone's head. Coverage stops being a function of who's online.
This is an AI assistant that's a fundamentally different operating model for your planning org.
